Reprint Prices- In all our packages you get the high resolution images. The thinking is that you can make reprints on your own by going to one hour labs at Costco, Sams Club or Wal*Mart. So, why would you want to buy a print from us? We have access to professional labs, and we also retouch the image. Thus if you're going to display a few key images around the house, you may want us to handle it. We also can print sizes you would have a hard time printing, and have many other exciting options.
Web hosting, enhanced file correction-This is a fairly long document that explains about our enhanced photo editing options including advanced file naming that will make your life a lot easier. It not only explains about web hosting, but also shows an example of the website you would receive.
Engagement Portrait Album w/ enhanced engagement portrait session-10 Pages/20 Sides -$750
This album is designed to have your engagement portrait images on one side of the page and a place to sign on the other side. In the past we've only offered the signature mat, and people have liked it. . . But. . .
The 'but" is that an engagement portrait signature mat looks cool, and is fun for about six months. Then, one day you just look at it and think "Man, that's busy!" It calls attention to itself in whatever room you put it in because of all the signatures. This is why so many of our brides don't have their guests sign them.
If you want to run to the beach to do your engagement session, are you really going to be happy with just one image? We'll put it this way. We find the beach is very unforgiving. You have to show up well before sunset because if the fog rolls in, the session is over. This happens quite a bit. If you get a lovely day then you're going to be miserable selecting just one image! You'll have dozens of images that you'll love!
The Enhanced Engagement Portrait Session- This session is designed for going to the beach, or other key places of interest such as the Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. Some couples have taken us to their colleges where they've met, others may want to go to the apple orchards in the mountains. It's time to think big! These photo sessions can last up to two and half hours and have many changes of clothing.
The Engagement Portrait Album-We've got a couple different options for these albums (as pictured above and below). The first thing that is important to know about these albums are that they are indeed albums. They are magazine albums. They are also very exciting. The thing we've seen quite a bit at weddings which has been a total flop are the little albums you make on the internet. The images don't print out well, the albums are small, and they don't display well. When we watch the guests look through them they tend to turn a few pages, get the idea of what's inside and stop looking. Most of the time these books sit closed.
The album above was an enhanced engagement session that lasted around 90 minutes on a Monday in March. The beach was fairly empty. We had so many great images that we couldn't fit them all into this album We used some of them in their main bridal album. Their wedding was in Cabo San Lucas and I gave this to Kellie on her just before her rehearsal dinner. She had no idea I was going to do this, and boy did she ever start crying! This album was prominently displayed at her wedding reception and there were around 50 people there. It took was being passed around and admired for hours!
We're starting to see brides coming in now looking for these albums. They are actually scaling back their wedding albums so that they can afford one of these books. If you think about it, it makes sense. First, you can go where you want to go to do your portraits. Second, you can wear what looks good on you. Third, these are pictures of what you look like before you get married when you were doing two hours a day at the gym every day for six months, right, right? These are actual albums so they show very well. They are small enough to take with you to show people (which is something you will want to do). And in Kellie's case, many of her friends didn't make the trek to Mexico, so after she was done showing them the album, they signed it.
